Maureen was born with several defects and had a lot of complications in the end she developed pneumonia. On the 19th of August 1964 Maureen went to join the Angels of Heaven to watch over her family down here on Earth.
I was only very young myself when Maureen was born and died, but one thing for sure Maureen has never been forgotten about by any of us.
Always remember our late Grandma Parkin telling us when ever there was gentle music Maureens facial expression would change to one of joy, even at that young age. She said music brought the best out of her.
